Journal ArticleDOI

Methotrexate, Doxorubicin, and Cisplatin (MAP) Plus Maintenance Pegylated Interferon Alfa-2b Versus MAP Alone in Patients With Resectable High-Grade Osteosarcoma and Good Histologic Response to Preoperative MAP: First Results of the EURAMOS-1 Good Response Randomized Controlled Trial

TL;DR: Investigation of maintenance therapy with pegylated interferon alfa-2b in patients whose osteosarcoma showed good histologic response (good response) to induction chemotherapy found that MAP plus IFN-α-2B was not statistically different from MAP alone.
Journal ArticleDOI

Best practices for the Management of Local-regional Recurrent Chordoma. A Position Paper by the Chordoma Global Consensus Group

Silvia Stacchiotti, +65 more
- 01 Jun 2017 -
TL;DR: The consensus achieved during a second consensus group meeting in November 2015 to address the treatment of locally relapsed chordoma complements the recommendations of the first position paper and is the subject of the present publication.
Journal ArticleDOI

Diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging allows monitoring of anticancer treatment effects in patients with soft-tissue sarcomas.

TL;DR: To determine if diffusion‐weighted imaging (DWI) can be used as a surrogate marker of tumor response to anticancer therapy in patients with soft‐tissue sarcomas, diffusion‐ weighted imaging is used.
Journal ArticleDOI

Noninvasive magnetic resonance thermography of soft tissue sarcomas during regional hyperthermia: correlation with response and direct thermometry.

TL;DR: Noninvasive magnetic resonance thermography for the monitoring of regional hyperthermia (RHT) in patients with soft tissue sarcomas of the lower extremities and pelvis is evaluated.
