Profiles and drivers of antibiotic resistance genes distribution in one-stage and two-stage sludge anaerobic digestion based on microwave-H2O2 pretreatment.

TL;DR: Three anaerobic digestion processes of waste activated sludge were established to investigate the profiles and drivers of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) distribution concerning co-selection from heavy metals, intI1 and microbial community through qPCR and high-throughput sequencing method and showed that MW-H2O2 could reduce the absolute gene copies of all ARGs while increased the relative abundance of most ARGs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Real-Time Underwater Onboard Vision Sensing System for Robotic Gripping

TL;DR: An efficient image enhancement method based on the Retinex theory is presented and a real-time lightweight object detector (RLOD) for the mobile embedded platform is proposed, which introduces dense connections and a featured pyramid network to improve the detection performance and speed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of low-pressure water softening hollow fiber membranes by polyelectrolyte deposition with two bilayers

TL;DR: The layer-by-layer (LBL) polyelectrolyte deposition was applied on polyethersulfone (PES) hollow fiber ultrafiltration membrane to prepare nanofiltration (NF) membrane for low pressure water softening application for the first time.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fate of microbial pollutants and evolution of antibiotic resistance in three types of soil amended with swine slurry.

TL;DR: Soil fertilized with swine waste is an essential pathway for the dissemination of microbial pollutants from concentrated swine farms to the public, and fertilization intervals of livestock wastes should be lengthened over the ARG active phase.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Unique Role of CaO in Stabilizing the Pt/Al2O3 Catalyst for the Dehydrogenation of Cyclohexane

TL;DR: In this article, the performance of the Pt/Al2O3 catalyst for the hydrogen-free dehydrogenation of cyclohexane was improved by doping with a small amount of Ca.
