Experiments on the structure of turbulence in fully developed pipe flow: interpretation of the measurements by a wave model
TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe two-point velocity measurements made at various radial positions in water in fully developed pipe flow, where axial velocity fluctuations were measured with hot-film anemometers at two points sufficiently close together that the turbulence structure remained essentially unchanged while passing between them.

Thorium as a nuclear fuel for CANDU reactors
TL;DR: The thorium fuel cycle is shown to be relatively insensitive to the cost of natural resources and the conditions under which fuelling costs for the thorium cycle will become competitive with the present natural uranium fuel cycle are discussed as mentioned in this paper.
