Generation of a p16 Reporter Mouse and Its Use to Characterize and Target p16high Cells In Vivo.
Satotaka Omori,Teh Wei Wang,Yoshikazu Johmura,Tomomi Kanai,Yasuhiro Nakano,Taketomo Kido,Etsuo A. Susaki,Takuya Nakajima,Shigeyuki Shichino,Satoshi Ueha,Manabu Ozawa,Kisho Yokote,Soichiro Kumamoto,Atsuya Nishiyama,Takeharu Sakamoto,Kiyoshi Yamaguchi,Seira Hatakeyama,Eigo Shimizu,Kotoe Katayama,Yasuhiro Yamada,Satoshi Yamazaki,Kanako Iwasaki,Chika Miyoshi,Hiromasa Funato,Masashi Yanagisawa,Hiroo Ueno,Seiya Imoto,Yoichi Furukawa,Nobuaki Yoshida,Kouji Matsushima,Hiroki R. Ueda,Atsushi Miyajima,Makoto Nakanishi +32 more
TL;DR: A new mouse model and single-cell analysis provide a powerful resource to enable the discovery of previously unidentified senescence functions in vivo and eliminate nonalcoholic steatohepatitis-related hepatic lipidosis and immune cell infiltration.
Journal ArticleDOI
Interleukin-11-expressing fibroblasts have a unique gene signature correlated with poor prognosis of colorectal cancer.
Takashi Nishina,Yutaka Deguchi,Daisuke Ohshima,Wakami Takeda,Wakami Takeda,Masato Ohtsuka,Shigeyuki Shichino,Satoshi Ueha,Soh Yamazaki,Mika Kawauchi,Eri Nakamura,Chiharu Nishiyama,Yuko Kojima,Satomi Adachi-Akahane,Mizuho Hasegawa,Mizuho Nakayama,Masanobu Oshima,Hideo Yagita,Kazutoshi Shibuya,Tetuo Mikami,Naohiro Inohara,Kouji Matsushima,Norihiro Tada,Hiroyasu Nakano +23 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the origin and functions of IL-11-producing (IL-11+) cells are not fully understood, but they appear in the colon in murine tumor and acute colitis models and express fibroblast markers and genes associated with cell proliferation and tissue repair.
Journal ArticleDOI
Products of Chemoenzymatic Synthesis Representing MUC1 Tandem Repeat Unit with T-, ST- or STn-antigen Revealed Distinct Specificities of Anti-MUC1 Antibodies.
Yayoi Yoshimura,Kaori Denda-Nagai,Yoshie Takahashi,Izuru Nagashima,Hiroki Shimizu,Toshimitsu Kishimoto,Miki Noji,Shigeyuki Shichino,Yasunori Chiba,Tatsuro Irimura +9 more
TL;DR: The results indicated that anti-MUC1 mAbs have diverse specificities but can be classified into a few characteristic groups based on their binding pattern toward glycopeptides in some cases having a specific glycan at unique glycosylation sites.
Journal ArticleDOI
In vitro expansion of endogenous human alveolar epithelial type II cells in fibroblast-free spheroid culture.
Kazushige Shiraishi,Takuya Nakajima,Shigeyuki Shichino,Shungo Deshimaru,Kouji Matsushima,Satoshi Ueha +5 more
TL;DR: It is shown that endogenous human AEC2 could be cultured and passaged using a three-dimensional culture system with a specific combination of signal ligands and inhibitors and revealed characteristic transcriptional traits similar to those of patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
Posted ContentDOI
Background mechanisms of olfactory dysfunction in COVID-19: expression of ACE2, TMPRSS2, and Furin in the nose and olfactory bulb in human and mice
TL;DR: The findings, together with clinical reports, suggest that COVID-19-related anosmia occurs mainly through sensorineural and central dysfunction and, to some extent, conductive olfactory dysfunction.
