EAACI Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Guidelines. Primary prevention of food allergy
Antonella Muraro,Susanne Halken,Syed Hasan Arshad,Syed Hasan Arshad,Syed Hasan Arshad,Kirsten Beyer,Anthony E.J. Dubois,G. Du Toit,Philippe Eigenmann,Kate Grimshaw,Arne Hoest,Gideon Lack,Liam O'Mahony,Nikolaos G. Papadopoulos,Nikolaos G. Papadopoulos,Sukhmeet S Panesar,Susan L. Prescott,Graham Roberts,Graham Roberts,Graham Roberts,D. de Silva,Carina Venter,Carina Venter,Valérie Verhasselt,A. C. Akdis,Aziz Sheikh,Aziz Sheikh +26 more
TL;DR: A wide range of antenatal, perinatal, neonatal, and childhood strategies were identified and their effectiveness assessed and synthesized in a systematic review to provide evidence‐based recommendations for primary prevention of food allergy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of wheezing phenotypes in the first 10 years of life.
Ramesh Kurukulaaratchy,M. Fenn,Linda Waterhouse,Sharon Matthews,Stephen T. Holgate,Syed Hasan Arshad,Syed Hasan Arshad +6 more
TL;DR: Background Childhood wheezing illnesses are characterized into different phenotypes, however, severity of the disease associated with these phenotypes has not been extensively studied.
Journal ArticleDOI
Predicting persistent disease among children who wheeze during early life.
TL;DR: A combination of genetic predisposition, early life atopy and recurrent chest infections favours the persistence of early life wheezing, which could provide prognostic guidance on the outcome of early wheeze.
Journal ArticleDOI
Developmental trajectories of Body Mass Index from infancy to 18 years of age: prenatal determinants and health consequences
TL;DR: Maternal prenatal exposures show prolonged effects on offspring's propensity towards overweight-obesity during the first 18 years of life that are associated with higher risk of asthma, reduced FEV1/FVC ratio, and elevated blood pressure.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: This article identified differential DNA methylation profiles in newborns and children related to childhood asthma, and identified differentially methylated regions in the newborns' DNA and children's DNA methylations.
