Predicting the Mixing Time of Soft Elastic Reactors: Physical Models and Empirical Correlations
TL;DR: In this paper, the mixing times of viscous fluids placed in a soft container where they were mixed by the vibrations of the tank wall were determined based on dimensional analysis, and the experimental results showed that the mixing time strongly depends on momentum change induced by the beater and its striking frequency.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hepta-band coupled-fed antenna for metal-ring-frame WWAN/LTE smartphone applications
TL;DR: In this article, a small-size 40 mm × 10 mm coupled-fed antenna for hepta-band WWAN/LTE metal-ring-frame MRF smartphone applications is investigated.

Ideal Nodal Rings of One-Dimensional Photonic Crystals in the Visible Region
TL;DR: In this article, the authors theoretically realized an ideal nodal ring in visible region using a simple 1D photonic crystal, where the pi Berry phase around the ring is manifested by a 2pi reflection phase's winding and the resultant drumhead surface states.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Compact and printed multiband antennas for 2G/3G/4G smartphones
TL;DR: In this article, a compact multiband antenna system for mobile handsets capable of covering 2G, 3G and 4G cellular frequency bands is presented, which is composed of two antennas that are etched diagonally on the non-grounded portion of the substrate board.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mechanistic exploration of glycemic lowering by soluble dietary fiber ingestion: Predictive modeling and simulation
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented spatiotemporally distributed intestinal absorption models that can be seamlessly coupled with an established glucose-insulin regulation model to predict glycemic lowering by soluble dietary fiber ingestion.
