A Planarization Technique Utilizing Oxide Flow during H 2 Treatment of a SiO 2 -GeO 2 Film

TL;DR: In this article, a large oxide flow was found when a SiO2-GeO2 mixed glass film was treated in a low-pressure H2 gas at 900°C. The flow mechanism was explained by the diffusion and evaporation of GeO molecules produced by GeO2 reduction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Basic Circuit Design of a Neural Processor: Analog CMOS Implementation of Spiking Neurons and Dynamic Synapses

TL;DR: This work proposes an analog circuit architecture of spiking neurons and dynamic synapses representing the model of artificial neurons and synapses in a form closer to that of the brain and shows simulation results of the operation of networks constructed with the proposed circuits.
Journal ArticleDOI

A single-electron circuit as a discrete dynamical system

TL;DR: In this article, a single-electron circuit can be operated as a discrete dynamical system because it changes its internal state discontinuously because of electron tunneling, and a sample circuit for discrete-time operation was designed and confirmed by computer simulation.
