Implementation of Graphene in Supercapacitor Electrodes

TL;DR: In this paper, a double layer of ions formed at the electrode/electrolyte interface is used to store charge in a double-layer of ions, which is called supercapacitors.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Big Year Ahead for Nano in 2018

TL;DR: The goals for ACS Nano include: accelerating advances in the field by identifying and elaborating opportunities; leveraging nanoscience and nanotechnology strategies, techniques, and methods to impact other fields; being a public face for the authors' fields; and linking together global science, engineering, and medicine.

Mxene-based sensor devices

TL;DR: In this paper, sensors comprising one or both of MXene-coated fibers and yams are used for various types of smart textile applications where conductivity is required, such as pressure, strain, moisture, and temperature.

DBPORMATIOR AND CRBBP OP SILl COR RITRIDB-KATRIX COMPOSITBS

TL;DR: In this paper, the stress-strain behavior and creep resistance of sintered ceramics containing free silicon and having structure similar to self-bonded SiC was studied under varying stresses at temperatures up to 1400 0 C in air.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Mxene As A Novel Material For Next Generation Desalination Membranes

TL;DR: Naguib et al. as mentioned in this paper presented MXenes, a new class of 2D carbides, as new promising membrane materials for water desalination applications, which can improve the flux, increase the salt rejection efficiency and decrease adhesion of the adsorbed particulates and organic molecules, thus mitigating fouling.
