A two-dimensional electron gas based on a 5s oxide with high room-temperature mobility and strain sensitivity
Zexin Feng,Peixin Qin,Yali Yang,Han Yan,Huixin Guo,Xiaoning Wang,Xiaorong Zhou,Yuyan Han,Jiabao Yi,Dongchen Qi,Dongchen Qi,Xiaojiang Yu,Mark B. H. Breese,Xin Zhang,Haojiang Wu,Hongyu Chen,Hongjun Xiang,Chengbao Jiang,Zhiqi Liu +18 more
TL;DR: In this article, a two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG) was realized on the surface of transparent BaSnO3 via oxygen vacancy creation, which exhibits a high carrier density of ~7.72×1014 cm−2 and a high room-temperature mobility of ~18 cm2·V−1·s−1.
Journal ArticleDOI
Coherently coupled ZnO and VO2 interface studied by photoluminescence and electrical transport across a phase transition
Amar Srivastava,T. S. Herng,Surajit Saha,Bao Nina,Anil Annadi,N. Naomi,Zhiqi Liu,S. Dhar,Ariando,Jun Ding,Thirumalai Venkatesan +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the photoluminescence and electrical properties of a coherently coupled interface consisting of a ZnO layer grown on top of an oriented VO2 layer on sapphire across the phase transition of VO2 were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ambiguity in the magnitude and direction of the derived interface dipole in lanthanum aluminate heterostructures: Implications and proposed solution
TL;DR: In this article, the authors found that the measurements of these two values are affected by differential charging and surface contaminants, respectively, which can affect both the polarity and the strength of the derived interface dipole and therefore have implications regarding the understanding of oxide-semiconductor band alignment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Observation of the Crystal Hall Effect in a Collinear Antiferromagnet
Zexin Feng,Xiaorong Zhou,Libor Šmejkal,Lei Wu,Zengwei Zhu,Huixin Guo,Rafael González-Hernández,Xiaoning Wang,Han Yan,Peixin Qin,Xin Zhang,Haojiang Wu,Hongyu Chen,Chengbao Jiang,Michael Coey,Jairo Sinova,Tomas Jungwirth,Zhiqi Liu +17 more
TL;DR: In this article, the anomalous Hall effect was observed in a system with abundant collinear antiferromagnetic order, and it was shown that the crystal Hall effect is an experimental manifestation of unconventional spin-splitting originating from a complex crystal structure with zero net moment.
