TL;DR: A network meta-analysis aiming to evaluate the effectiveness of different forms of exercise for treatment of patients with chronic low back pain, with primary outcomes pain relief and improvement in function or disability.
Abstract: Introduction Exercise is considered as an effective intervention in the management of patients with chronic low back pain (cLBP). However, the relative effectiveness as well as the hierarchy of exercise interventions have not been well established, although various exercise options are available. Therefore, the present protocol proposes to conduct a network meta-analysis (NMA) aiming to evaluate the effectiveness of different forms of exercise for treatment of cLBP. Methods and analysis Medline, Embase, PsycINFO, the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, and the Physiotherapy Evidence Database will be searched to identify all randomised controlled trials that evaluate the effectiveness of exercise in the treatment of cLBP. There will be no restrictions on date or language. Two authors will screen the literature and extract data independently based on predesigned rules, and evaluate the risk of bias of included studies using the Cochrane Risk of Bias Tool. Disagreements will be resolved through discussion or consultation with a senior reviewer. The primary outcomes of this study will be pain relief and improvement in function or disability for all interventions. Traditional pairwise meta-analysis and Bayesian NMA will be conducted to compare the effectiveness of different exercise interventions. The ranking probabilities for all interventions will be estimated and the hierarchy of each intervention will be summarised as surface under the cumulative ranking curve. The quality of evidence will be assessed using the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation instrument. Ethics and dissemination Ethical approval and informed consent are not required since this is a protocol for a meta-analysis with no confidential personal data to be collected. The results of this NMA will be submitted to a peer-reviewed journal for publication. PROSPERO registration number CRD42018090576.

TL;DR: To investigate the application value of shear wave elastography and acoustic radiation force impulse imaging in the diagnosis of female bladder neck obstruction, these 2 methods are compared to provide a more accurate reference for clinical work.
Abstract: Objective To investigate the application value of shear wave elastography (SWE) and acoustic radiation force impulse imaging (ARFI) in the diagnosis of female bladder neck obstruction (FBNO), we compared the advantages of these 2 methods to provide a more accurate reference for clinical work. Methods From April 2016 to February 2018, 27 patients who were diagnosed with FBNO by cystoscopy and/or urine dynamics testing were selected for the study, together with 24 healthy adults in a case-control study at Liaoning Province People's Hospital. We collected general information from 27 patients with FBNO, and using transperineal 2-dimensional ultrasound detection, shear wave elastography (SWE) and ARFI were used, respectively, to detect the Young's modulus and shear wave velocity (SWV) of the bladder necks. Cystoscopy results were considered to be the gold standard, and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were drawn for ARFI, SWE, and the combined diagnosis of the two. The efficacy of the diagnosis was determined by comparing the areas under the ROC curves and calculating the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy. Results The areas under the ROC curve for the Q-box mean and max value detected by SWE for FBNO patients were 88.4% and 89.9%, respectively, and the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy were 81.5%, 79.2%, and 80.4%, respectively. The area under the ROC curve detected by ARFI for FBNO patients was 93.7%, and the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy were 88.9%, 79.2%, and 84.3%, respectively. The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of the combined detection of ARFI and SWE were 92.5%, 87.5%, and 90.2%, respectively. The best diagnostic cutoff point of the SWV or the Q-box mean and max value of SWE in FBNO obtained with the ROC curve was SWV = 2.38 m/s (sensitivity, 71.4%; specificity, 82.5%), Q-box mean = 20.2 kPa, Q-box max = 39.8 kPa (sensitivity, 67.5%; specificity, 76.2%). The average shear wave velocity of ARFI, Q-box mean, and Q-box max value of SWE in the control group were 1.89 ± 0.35 m/s, 15.3 ± 3.6 kPa, and 29.2 ± 8.7 kPa, respectively. In the FBNO group, these values were 2.81 ± 0.63) m/s, 27.2 ± 8.6 kPa, and 51.2 ± 12.3 kPa, respectively. The differences were statistically significant (P Conclusion The value of the ARFI in the diagnosis of FBNO is a little greater than that of SWE in terms of sensitivity and accuracy, and the combined detection of ARFI and SWE performs better than ARFI or SWE employed separately.

TL;DR: Yinzhihuang granules combined with conventional therapy has obvious effect and is safer in the treatment of neonatal jaundice.
Abstract: Objective:Analysis and evaluation of the therapeutic difference between conventional therapy and a combination of Yinzhihuang granules and conventional therapy in the treatment of neonatal jaundice were made. Methods:The domestic published articles relating to neonatal jaundice treated with Yinzhihuang granules from 1989 to 2012 were searched. The included articles for study were under the standard for evaluation of M-Jadad.The chosen articles were randomized controlled trials(RCT).Retrieving and analyzing:two researchers collected research data independently, making statistical analysis through Review Manager 5.1 provided by the Cochrane Collaboration. Results:There was significant treatment difference between the experimental group(Yinzhihuang granules and conventional therapy)and control group(conventional therapy)(P0.01).Conclusion:Yinzhihuang granules combined with conventional therapy has obvious effect and is safer in the treatment of neonatal jaundice.

TL;DR: In this paper, a multi-narrow-band thin layer chromatography (TLC) plate containing several parallel narrow bands was utilized to find suitable mobile phase and separation conditions.
Abstract: Thin layer chromatography (TLC) coupled with infrared spectroscopic technique has great advantages in the separation and identification of different components in a mixture However, determination of suitable separation condition is a tedious task To improve the efficiency of finding suitable separation conditions, we propose a multi-narrow-band TLC approach In this approach, a TLC plate containing several parallel narrow bands was utilized In experiment, different pure substance was added on each of the narrow bands and TLC analysis was performed under same condition Different substance exhibits different migration distance Thus, it becomes much easier to separate substances with large difference in migration distance This approach can be used to find multiple mixed sample pairs in a parallel manner Consequently, a high-throughput method on selection of suitable mobile phase and separation conditions can be established
