TL;DR: Results indicate that in the proposed real time system medical data can be transmitted with a high reliability and enhances individual and population via good health outcomes, improved patient care, and strong clinician-patient relationship.
Abstract: Health informatics deals with the resources, devices, and methods required for optimizing the acquisition, storage, retrieval and use of information in health system. This paper proposes a low cost, reliable medical sensing, communication and analytics device using ARM 7 (LPC2148) controller, which is interfaced with temperature and pulse rate sensor and GSM technology to transfer the information between the patient, doctor and the nearby paramedical unit. The Microsoft visual basic, which acts as a front end is used to link the database with the server. The server database holds the patient health record which is used as reference. This system compares the health information of patient with the details in database and delivers necessitate medicine to the patient in time. This enhances individual and population via good health outcomes, improved patient care, and strong clinician-patient relationship. Home monitoring programs can reduce transportation and high cost of hospital visits for patients in underserved areas. Results indicate that in the proposed real time system medical data can be transmitted with a high reliability.

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of mechanical characteristics of dissimilar aluminium alloys (AA2024 and AA6063aluminium alloy) in joining parameters was examined. But, the main aim of the investigation is to examine the effect of mechanical properties on the performance of the dissimilar aluminum alloys.
Abstract: Frictional heating system and permanent distortion under melting heat is a technique behind Friction stir welding (FSW) of the materials. Compared to arc welding, Friction stir welding has higher strength, good fatigue life, and lower distortion, less residual stress, low corrosion and non-defect. The main aim of the investigation is to examine the influence of mechanical characteristics of dissimilar aluminium alloys (AA2024 & AA6063aluminium alloy) in joining parameters. Properties like hardness and tensile testing helps us to investigate the mechanical performance of the dissimilar aluminium alloys welded through different welding speed, tool rotation speed and the applied axial load.

TL;DR: In this article, a smart pantry level monitoring system using the Internet of Things (IoT) is presented. The system enables a user to view the level of items in a container from any place and alerts the user if the container's level goes below minimum weight.
Abstract: With the development of the Internet of things (IoT), many tasks are automated. The system aims to make the daily tasks of humans in the kitchen easier. This system provides IoT-based Smart Pantry level monitoring using the Internet of things. The containers are fitted with sensors. These are used to gather data about the stock level of items in the container. This data is collected and stored in the cloud. The data is continuously updated. The information includes the changes of weight in regular intervals of time. This system enables a user to view the level of items in a container from any place. The system alerts the user if the container's level goes below minimum weight. It also sends the message to the shopkeeper to place the order of a particular item.

TL;DR: In this article, a simple controller is implemented using a versatile TMS320LF2407A digital signal processor, which is compact, simple in construction and requires few inexpensive components.
Abstract: BLDC motors find numerous applications in the position and speed control systems. Such motors are not able to meet the desired specifications since they respond slowly to the input owing to inherent parameters. Hence, a feasible and practically realisable controller is required to meet the desired specifications with improved performance. The proposed simple controller is implemented using a versatile TMS320LF2407A digital signal processor. The experimental results are presented to validate the simulation results. The proposed controller is compact, simple in construction and requires few inexpensive components.

TL;DR: A wrist band monitors real-time biological parameters in cloud server whereas Myoware muscle sensor senses muscle contraction and SpO2 sensor measures pulse rate and oxygen level in the body.
Abstract: Epilepsy, a neurological disease, affects quite sixty-five million individuals all over the world. Epilepsy, a brain disorder, is characterized by intermittent seizures which are caused by disturbances in the electrical activity of the brain. These seizures will last from seconds to minutes and vary from an impaired consciousness up to severe convulsions of the whole human body. To reduce morbidity and mortality caused by epilepsy, real-time patient observation is essential to alert caretakers and to look after the emergency medications and give assistance. A wrist band monitors real-time biological parameters in cloud server whereas Myoware muscle sensor senses muscle contraction and SpO2 sensor measures pulse rate and oxygen level in the body. Databases are collected in the cloud server which helps doctor and caretakers to monitor patient’s health regularly. An Android app is used to alert caretakers and alarm is used to alert the surroundings for emergency help and medication.
