TL;DR: In this paper, the authors applied the Taguchi method and ANOVA to achieve an improved hole quality considering the minimum surface roughness through proper selection of drilling parameters in GFRP material.
Abstract: Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastics composites have an increased application in recent days, due to its enhanced structural properties, Mechanical and thermal properties. Drilling of holes in GFRP becomes almost unavoidable in fabrication. The heterogeneous nature of this kind of materials makes complications during machining operation. However, drilling is a common machining practice for assembly of components. The quality of holes produced in the GFRP material is severely affected by surface roughness, Circularity and Delamination. The objective of the study is to apply the Taguchi method and ANOVA to achieve an improved hole quality considering the minimum surface roughness through proper selection of drilling parameters. The regression method is employed in the Experimental investigation and Mathematical modelling of drilling of GFRP material using HSS drill bits.

TL;DR: Data mining methods allows finding out blood bank region based consumption model that a city poses and used to pull out the information concerning to blood bank count in regard to the number of cities in each region.
Abstract: Data mining methods allows finding out blood bank region based consumption model that a city poses and used to pull out the information concerning to blood bank count in regard to the number of cities in each region. K- Means clustering procedure is used for identifying the regions that has low, middle and high Blood bank counts. The data set used is available in Indian government website. To validate the proposed work, the implementation is done in both R and Weka Tool and cluster mean difference is measured.

TL;DR: The proposed system provides a solution to this drawback by monitoring the acceleration of the vehicle and sending the pre-stored message to the emergency contacts such as relatives, hospitals, police station.
Abstract: Now-a-days accident happens frequently, due to poor emergency facilities there are loss of human lives. The proposed system provides a solution to this drawback. An accelerometer sensor monitors the acceleration of the vehicle. A threshold value is fixed. If there is any change in vehicle’s tilt position, orientation and if it is acceleration value is above the threshold value. Immediately it sends signal to the microcontroller. A GSM module is activated and it sends the pre-stored message to the emergency contacts such as relatives, hospitals, police station.

TL;DR: A method is proposed that reduces the tag comparisons while meeting the given performance bound and also dynamic reordering of cache hit/miss prediction methods for multistep tag comparison that can further reduce the energy consumed in tag comparison by adapting to dynamically changing cache access behavior.
Abstract: Cache energy in a highly associative is consumed mostly during tag comparison. Existing tag comparison methods involve predicting either cache hit or cache miss. In this paper a multistep tag comparison L2 cache is designed using both cache hit and miss predictions. This utilizes a hot hit ratio to determine which method to apply first. A partially tagged bloom filter for cache miss predictions by checking the non-membership of the addresses and hotline check for cache hit prediction by reducing the tag comparisons. A method is proposed that reduces the tag comparisons while meeting the given performance bound and also dynamic reordering of cache hit/miss prediction methods for multistep tag comparison that can further reduce the energy consumed in tag comparison by adapting to dynamically changing cache access behavior. From the experimental results it is found that the proposed method reduces the power consumption by an average of 20% than the partial tag enhanced cache hit prediction.

TL;DR: This paper presents a design of Incontinence monitoring system using wireless sensors for “Smart Diaper” which is based on the non-contact sensor module that could be incorporated in the diaper.
Abstract: Urinary Incontinence is the most common and serious issue that is faced by the Senior citizens, infants as well as the physically and mentally challenged people. This paper presents a design of Incontinence monitoring system using wireless sensors for “Smart Diaper” which is based on the non-contact sensor module that could be incorporated in the diaper. Data is transmitted by means of a wireless transmission and communication technology also the user will be provided a Mobile application that notifies the status of the Moisture content from the diaper. The real time moisture information is collected by the device which is integrated with the diaper and this device will pass on the data by means of Bluetooth module to the application provided and all the data and details will be stored in the Database for future reference or experiments. The proposed alarm system along with the working flow are mentioned.
