TL;DR: The proposed receiver gives better performance than the Minimum Mean Square Error and Subspace Marginalization with Interference Suppression detectors since the MPD detection algorithm uses only the matrix multiplication and it does not need the matrix inversion.
Abstract: Objective: Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) low complexity CHEMP (Channel Hardening Exploiting Message Passing) receiver which utilizes the channel hardening in the large scale MIMO channel to reduce the complexity. Methods: The Channel Hardening refers that the off diagonal elements of HTH matrix become progressively weaker than the diagonal elements because of the channel gain matrix H size increases. It is used for detection and estimation. The proposed receiver uses Message Passing Detection (MPD) algorithm and the estimation HTH matrix. Findings: Hence, the proposed receiver gives better performance than the Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) and Subspace Marginalization with Interference Suppression (SUMIS) detectors since the MPD detection algorithm uses only the matrix multiplication and it does not need the matrix inversion. Improvements: The optimized Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) codes are used to provide the considerable improvement than LDPC cods.

TL;DR: In this article, a model environment in Unity Engine was created for children with autism spectrum disorder to learn how to react and escape from a fire accident in virtual reality environment, where children with ASD are found having impairments related to brain development that causes deficits in social communication, cognitive skills, sensory and emotional regulations.
Abstract: Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are found having impairments related to brain development that causes deficits in social communication, cognitive skills, sensory and emotional regulations. Virtual Reality allows children with ASD to safely participate in interactive and immersive simulated situations. This proposed study contributes to children affected with ASD to improve managing their safety awareness on fire and to identify the environment that is about to cause a fire accident and make them exit from the situation. As short sessions and unembellished designs are advised in VR for such kinds of disorders, in this the work is attempted to create a model environment in Unity Engine, that could create awareness towards the improvisation of safety on fire by completing the tasks given through stages and to monitor them to analyze their task performances and make the participants to actively immerse into virtual experiences. So this system will help children with ASD to learn about fire cautions. As a result after the required sessions, they will be to learn how to react and escape from a fire accident.

TL;DR: A novel and proficient implementation of an image watermarking system based on Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) for medical data to validate secured transmission for multiple documents of medical data by providing privacy, integrity and authenticity.
Abstract: Technological development in the field of digital enhancement and computer access has echoed rapid change in simplifying medical imaging and maintaining hospital information system (HIS), including radiology information system (RIS). Digital watermarking is a promising technique which hides the information like images, video or audio on a digital support to provide authentication control, copyright protection, integrity verification of the owner. At earlier stage, cryptography, digital watermarking and steganography methods were used to secure the data transmission over Internet. Tele-radiology is one of the successful medical health services. Although it enabled effective practice of medical service, it has several security issues. In this paper, we intend to develop a novel and proficient implementation of an image watermarking system based on Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) for medical data. The approach includes Least Significant Bit (LSB) substitution for finger print encryption and LSB along with block cipher algorithm for medical data encryption. Verification of fingerprint eludes legal disputes like fake users, misuse of data, image retention etc. Compared to the conventional SVD-based watermarking method experimental results of the proposed method based on DWT validate secured transmission for multiple documents of medical data by providing privacy, integrity and authenticity. The proposed method shows better PSNR value and is robust. The proposed strategy is achieved using MATLAB software tool.
