Abstract: A method for resolving a network address of a terminal, said terminal being assigned a SIP address, the method comprising: receiving an address resolving request relating to the terminal in a routing unit of a telecommunication network, the address resolving request being associated to the SIP address; forwarding the address resolving request to a resolving unit; sending address queries to address servers and/or databases from the resolving unit; receiving, from each of the address servers and/or databases, the network address of the terminal or an error message indicating the network address of the terminal was not found; and sending a response to the address resolving request to the routing unit of the telecommunication network, the response including either the network address of the terminal or the error message.

A method and system adapted to provide value added services to mobile telephony subscribers

Abstract: The invention provides a telecommunications system, which is adapted to provide value added services to mobile telephony subscribers. The system comprising a telecommunications operator's server, a plurality of mobile subscriber terminals, at least one service provider's server and data storage means. The said at least one service provider's server communicates with the operator's server, provides new valued added service for mobile telephony subscribers, and registers the value added services with the operator's server by transmitting information describing each service to the operator's server. The service related information includes a call address to be used by the operator's server when executing a respective service. A value added service may be provided in the form of a source code, without the need for the service to be executed by the service provider.

Abstract: Un metodo para la gestion de una direccion de un agente local (HA) en una red tipo IP Movil, siendo capaz un nodo movil de la red de itinerar entre una red local en modo paquete y una red visitada, comprendiendo el metodo el mantenimiento de una direccion de un agente local (HA) IP Movil de un nodo movil en asociacion con otros datos del abonado en una base de datos de una red GPRS local, la inicializacion (2-2) de la activacion del contexto de protocolo de datos por paquetes en la red GPRS local del nodo movil por el nodo movil, el envio (2-8) de la direccion del agente local al nodo movil durante la activacion del contexto de protocolo de datos por paquetes, y el almacenamiento (2-10) de la direccion del agente local en el nodo movil.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method, an element, and a system for providing access authentication for a user using user equipment (1-2) communicating (1) in a first communications network (1 -30) accepting a first type of identification to a second communications network (1-16, 1-20) accepting a second type of identification. In the invention, an identifier comprising a first part and a second part is received (5); a corresponding second part is retrieved (7) from a database (BSF) by using the first part; the received second part is compared with the retrieved corresponding second part; and if they are the same, the user equipment (1-2) is provided with access authentication to the second communications network (1 -16, 1-20).
