TL;DR: Results of the approach to go beyond the accuracy limits of current optical flow estimators show that estimated depth map are clearer and boundaries are sharper than original coarse to fine approach with bi-cubic interpolation method.
Abstract: In this paper we present an approach to go beyond the accuracy limits of current optical flow estimators. We have used coarse to over-fine approach along with hybrid interpolation to upgrade coarse to fine approach. Coarse to fine approach is used by most modern optical flow algorithms. Results of suggested method show benefit for sub-pixel motion. It also reduces the estimation error to great extent. Hybrid interpolation method is used which is an integration of bilinear and bi-cubic interpolation methods. Results of our approach on benchmark sequences show that estimated depth map are clearer and boundaries are sharper than original coarse to fine approach with bi-cubic interpolation method. Once optical flow vectors are found occlusion is detected based on the concept of residual error image.

TL;DR: In this paper, the main objective of this research will be to minimize the overhead and to have a smart way of generating slides for teaching to help students retain their concentration levels during online learning.
Abstract: With the current situation of Covid-19 and people are moving into online learning for their studies, lecturers and teachers should find a way in which they could make online learning effective for students. The radical shift towards online learning has surged the use of various online tools and methods. The most common tool being used is the presentation slide. Due to the fact that most teachers and lecturers have less knowledge on creating presentations which helps retain student concentration levels during online learning, a system to help them to auto generate these lecture materials would be worthwhile. Previous studies have been conducted to look into generating slides for research and academic papers. However, there is no system which is fine-tuned to help teachers in generating slides automatically just by them uploading images from the lecture material they use. The main objective of this research will be to minimize the overhead and to have a smart way of generating slides for teaching to help students retain their concentration levels.

TL;DR: Proposed system named as MED-IoT (Medicine Confirmation System using Internet of Things) in which the given system will focus on reminding patients who forget to take medicines on time.
Abstract: loT is a Technology in which physical objects are accessible through internet. It has numerous applications in health care system which provides solutions for the patient and health care professionals. It makes medical equipment's more efficient by allowing real time monitoring of patient health, in which sensors acquire data. Therefore, propose system named as MED-IoT (Medicine Confirmation System using Internet of Things) in which the given system will focus on reminding patients who forget to take medicines on time. MED-loT is a system in which user will have to provide the prescription information through the web page after that system will analyze the weight of medicines before consumption and again calculate the weight of medicine after the dosage is consumed by the patient. This tends to happen on regular intervals as mentioned by the user. This weight is displayed on 16-bit LCD display and buzzer mechanism is embedded to alert the user at the time when weight of the medicine changes. This change in weight mechanism is calculated by component called Load cell. The system will send text messages to end user at the time when the weight of medicine changes.

TL;DR: Tranexamic acid is a safe and effective drug to reduce blood loss in cesarean section and its side effects and none of the mothers and the newborns had major side effects of drug.
Abstract: Introduction: Obstetric hemorrhage is one of the major causes of maternal morbidity and mortality. Blood loss during cesarean section is almost twice than that in vaginal delivery. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of tranexamic acid to reduce blood loss in cesarean section and its side effects. Methods: A comparative study was done in 100 women undergoing cesarean section between December 2015 to January 2017. The study group of 50 women received one gram intravenous tranexamic acid and the control group of 50 women did not receive tranexamic acid. Primary outcome measure was blood loss during cesarean section. Secondary outcome measures were drop in post-operative hemoglobin and hematocrit, change in pulse rate and blood pressure, need of additional uterotonics, auxiliary procedures to stop bleeding, blood transfusion rate and maternal and neonatal side effects of the drug. Results: Mean intraoperative blood loss in the study group was 443.62± 86.73ml; and in control group, 667.40±131.01ml (p<0.001). Mean postoperative drop in hemoglobin (g/dl) in the two groups were 0.82±0.27 and 1.86±0.64 respectively (p<0.001). Mean postoperative drop in hematocrit in the two groups were 2.60±0.91 and 5.49±1.97 respectively (p<0.001). Fourteen patients in the control group required additional uterotonics while none in the study group (p<0.001). There was no significant difference in the transfusion requirement (p=0.079). None of the mothers and the newborns had major side effects of drug. Conclusion: Tranexamic acid is a safe and effective drug to reduce blood loss in cesarean section.
