TL;DR: The microexplosion evolution phenomenon of single droplets of water in pure diesel emulsion under Leidenfrost effect has been studied in this paper, where three different droplet diameters of approximately 2.6 mm, 2 mm, and 0.2 mm were analyzed.
Abstract: The microexplosion evolution phenomenon of single droplets of water in pure diesel emulsion under Leidenfrost effect has been studied. The tested emulsions were stabilized with a blend of commercial surfactants with three different water contents of 9%, 12%, and 15%. A high speed camera synchronized with backlight technique was used to capture the evolution of microexplosion and puffing. Three different droplet diameters of approximately 2.6 mm, 2 mm, and 0.2 mm were analyzed. It was found that the tendency of microexplosion and puffing frequency was influenced by the droplet diameter. Coalescence was the dominating factor in inducing microexplosion in bigger droplets. It was observed that the child droplets ejected from the parent droplet undergoes further puffing processes. The size of the secondary droplets after microexplosion were also found to be slightly influenced by the parent droplet size. The waiting time for microexplosion and puffing were compared for different droplets size.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed a scale for measuring customer value co-creation attitude (CVCCA), which is a higher-order construct comprising three dimensions: interaction attitude, knowledge sharing attitude and responsive attitude.
Abstract: The purpose of this research is to develop a scale for measuring customer value co-creation attitude (CVCCA).,Scale development procedures are used for item generation, item purification and validation. Two studies are conducted. In Study 1, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis is used to generate and confirm the factorial structure of the CVCCA construct. Study 2 validates the scale on a large field sample.,The study develops a new scale for measuring CVCCA. Results suggest that CVCCA is a higher-order construct comprising three dimensions: interaction attitude, knowledge sharing attitude and responsive attitude. Additionally, experiential value significantly predicts CVCCA, which subsequently leads to customer value co-creation behaviour confirming nomological validity of the scale.,The CVCCA scale should be of interest for researchers in exploring factors and outcomes of CVCCA. The scale is useful to managers who are interested in measuring their customers’ co-creation of value attitude and their willingness to engage in value co-creation behaviour.,This is the first scale using the service logic of marketing lens. The scale is found to be a valid and reliable tool to measure customer attitude to engage in value co-creation.

TL;DR: In this article, a ternary composite comprising of p-toluene sulfonic acid doped polyaniline (PANI), chitosan and reduced graphene oxide (RGO) with stable aqueous dispersibility has been synthesized via oxidative polymerisation of aniline.
Abstract: A ternary composite comprising of p-toluene sulfonic acid doped polyaniline (PANI), chitosan and reduced graphene oxide (RGO) with stable aqueous dispersibility has been synthesised via oxidative polymerisation of aniline in chitosan/RGO dispersion. For comparison; PANI, PANI/chitosan and PANI/RGO composites were also synthesised using the same procedure. FTIR, Raman, XPS, XRD and UV-VIS confirmed the successful synthesis of the PANI and the composites. The aqueous dispersions of the PANI/chitosan and the ternary composites were found to be stable even after more than four months. The stability of the dispersion was attributed to the polycationic nature of the chitosan. The thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) shows an improved thermal stability for the ternary composite compared to PANI, PANI/chitosan and PANI/RGO composites up to about 160 °C. In addition, the electrical conductivity of the ternary composite is around 33 and 2.6 times greater than that of PANI/chitosan composite and PANI, respectively. Interestingly, the analysis of the band gap shows the lowest value of optical band gap of 2.25 eV for the ternary composite compared to PANI, PANI/chitosan and PANI/RGO with 2.50 eV, 2.60 eV and 2.44 eV, respectively. The reduced band gap for the ternary composite might be attributed to the formation of conductive networks throughout the chitosan matrix due to uniform dispersion of RGO in the chitosan matrices as well as the possible grafting of PANI onto chitosan backbone. These observed properties indicate the potential utilisation of the ternary composite in optical, electrical, optoelectronic and many other industrial applications.

TL;DR: In this article, density and viscosity were determined over the whole concentration range for the binary mixtures ionic liquid bis(2-hydroxyethyl)ammonium propionate [BHEAP] with methanol, ethanol, and 1-propanol at (293.15, 303, 313, and 323.15) K and 0.1 MPa.
Abstract: In this work, density and viscosity were determined over the whole concentration range for the binary mixtures ionic liquid bis(2-hydroxyethyl)ammonium propionate [BHEAP] with methanol, ethanol, and 1-propanol at (293.15, 303.15, 313.15, and 323.15) K and 0.1 MPa. Excess molar volume and viscosity deviations for the binary system were calculated and well fitted to a Redlich−Kister equation.
