A review on anaerobic-aerobic treatment of industrial and municipal wastewater.

The comparison demonstrates that using an integrated bioreactor with stacked configuration in treating high strength industrial wastewaters is advantageous due to minimal space requirements, low capital cost and excellent COD removal efficiencies.
