Chemical constituents from Piper wallichii

TLDR
Fifteen known compounds including four triterpenoids, one sterol, one diketopiperazine alkaloid and nine phenolics were isolated from the stems of Piper wallichii and the structure of compound 1 was fully assigned by 1D and 2D NMR experiments for the first time.

Study on the contents of aristololactams in piper wallichii and their renal cytotoxicities

TL;DR: In the study, three aristololactams were isolated from Piper wallichii and determined simultaneously by a HPLC method using a C18 column with a gradient elution of methanol and water to indicate that the test compounds showed a timeand dose-dependent cytotoxicity in HK-2 cells.
