Toward a computational photobiology

TL;DR: In this article, the results of recent studies on the molecular mecha-nism, which stand at the basis of the photochemical processes occurring in photobiological systems, are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Developing ultra deformable vesicular transportation of a bioactive alkaloid in pursuit of vitiligo therapy

TL;DR: The kinetics, efficiency and the transfersome mediated transport can be tailored for trans-epidermal, deep tissues and systemic depending on the vesicular composition, dose and form.
Posted ContentDOI

Phase Transition of RNA-protein Complexes into Ordered Hollow Condensates

TL;DR: It is shown that complexes of negatively charged RNAs and positively charged disordered polypeptides can form vesicle-like ordered assemblies at charge disproportionate mixture compositions, and that the ability to form vESicular assemblies is not specific to RNA-protein complexes, rather is generic to complexes of oppositely charged polyionic chains.
Journal ArticleDOI

A strict inequality for the minimisation of the Willmore functional under isoperimetric constraint

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors prove a strict inequality between the Willmore energies of two surfaces and their connected sum in the context of isoperimetric constraints, which leads to existence of minimisers for the isopimetric constrained constrained Willmore problem in every genus, provided the minimal energy lies strictly below $8pi.
Journal ArticleDOI

Decaying of phase synchronization in parkinsonian tremor

TL;DR: A modified method is developed that overcomes effects of the asymmetry of cycles and non-stationarity in time series on the phase synchronization method and applies it to study parkinsonian tremor, indicating that there is synchronization between two different hands and information about the time delay separating their dynamics.
