Identification of key miRNAs and targeted genes involved in the progression of oral squamous cell carcinoma

TLDR
Findings indicate thatmiR-21 and miR-125b, associated with the 10 hub genes, jointly participate in OSCC tumorigenesis, offering insight into the molecular mechanisms underlying OSCC as potential targets for early diagnosis, treatment and prognosis.

KEGG: new perspectives on genomes, pathways, diseases and drugs

TL;DR: The content has been expanded and the quality improved irrespective of whether or not the KOs appear in the three molecular network databases, and the newly introduced addendum category of the GENES database is a collection of individual proteins whose functions are experimentally characterized and from which an increasing number of KOs are defined.

starBase v2.0: decoding miRNA-ceRNA, miRNA-ncRNA and protein–RNA interaction networks from large-scale CLIP-Seq data

TL;DR: This study developed starBase v2.0, which has been updated to provide the most comprehensive CLIP-Seq experimentally supported miRNA-mRNA and mi RNA-lncRNA interaction networks to date, and developed miRFunction and ceRNAFunction web servers to predict the function of miRNAs and other ncRNAs from themiRNA-mediated regulatory networks.
