Abstract
The detailed structure of the interaction of a strong stellar wind with the interstellar medium is presented. First, an adiabatic similarity solution is given which is applicable at early times. Second, a similarity solution is derived which includes the effects of thermal conduction between the hot (about 1 million K) interior and the cold shell of swept-up interstellar matter. This solution is then modified to include the effects of radiative energy losses. The evolution of an interstellar bubble is calculated, including the radiative losses. The quantitative results for the outer-shell radius and velocity and the column density of highly ionized species such as O VI are within a factor 2 of the approximate results of Castor, McCray, and Weaver (1975). The effect of stellar motion on the structure of a bubble, the hydrodynamic stability of the outer shell, and the observable properties of the hot region and the outer shell are discussed.

GSH 006−15+7: a local Galactic supershell featuring transition from H i emission to absorption

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported on the discovery of a new Galactic supershell, GSH 006−15+7, from the Galactic All-Sky Survey data Observed and derived properties are presented, and they find that GSH is one of the nearest physically large supershells known, with dimensions of ∼780 × 520pc at a distance of ∼ 15kpc.

Galactic 26Al traces metal loss through hot chimneys

TL;DR: In this paper, a simulation of a galaxy with massive-star feedback in superbubbles and with ejecta traced by radioactive 26Al is presented, showing that about 30-40 per cent of the ejecta remains hot, with typical cooling times of the order Gyr.

N131: A dust bubble born from the disruption of a gas filament

TL;DR: In this article, the formation and fragmentation of an infrared dust bubble with multi-wavelength dust and gas observations was studied, and it was suggested that the bubble N131 might be triggered by the strong stellar winds from a group of massive stars inside the bubble.

The Interstellar Medium in the Environs of O-Type Stars

TL;DR: In this paper, the distribution of the neutral gas in the neighborhood of four southern O-type stars based on observations of the 21 cm H I line was analyzed and it was suggested that HD 155913 belongs to an unknown OB association that could also have contributed in the formation of the H I bubble surrounding this star.
