Multiresponse analysis of microbiological parameters affecting the production of pectolytic enzymes by Aspergillus niger: a statistical view

TLDR
In order to develop a two-stage inoculum possessing the best conditions for the maximum production of all three enzymes, a multiresponse analysis was carried out using a generalized distance approach.

Modeling of polygalacturonase enzyme activity and biomass production by Aspergillus sojae ATCC 20235.

TL;DR: Fermentation data of an A. sojae system were modeled by multiple linear regression (MLR) and artificial neural network (ANN) approaches to estimate PG activity and biomass and it was shown that the final pH of the fermentation medium was an effective parameter in the estimation of biomass concentration.

A Novel Pectin-degrading Enzyme Complex from Aspergillus Sojae ATCC 20235 Mutants

TL;DR: In this paper, a pectin-degrading enzyme (PDE) complex exhibiting low PE activity of three Aspergillus sojae ATCC 20235 mutants (M3, DH56 and Guserbiot 2.230) was investigated.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Various factors affecting the pellet morphology, broth reology and pectinase enzyme production in submerged fermentation of aspergillus sojae

TL;DR: Pectinase enyzme production was taken as a model for submerged fermentation and small pellets gave higher activities under the conditions of low agitation speed, high dissolved oxygen concentrations and uncontrolled pH.

A study of pectinase enzyme activity changes in gamma- irradiated Trichoderma reesei mutants

TL;DR: The activity of this enzyme was investigated in a suitable temperature and pH in order to increase the activity of fungal pectinase and showed that, two most active strains were T.r M13 and T. r M 15 with specific activity of the enzyme.
Journal ArticleDOI

Screening and optimization of pectin lyase and polygalacturonase activity from ginseng pathogen Cylindrocarpon Destructans

TL;DR: Cylindrocarpon destructans isolated from ginseng field was found to produce pectinolytic enzymes and at stationary state high enzyme production and mycelial growth were obtained than agitation state.

On the Experimental Attainment of Optimum Conditions

TL;DR: The work described in this article is the result of a study extending over the past few years by a chemist and a statistician, which has come about mainly in answer to problems of determining optimum conditions in chemical investigations, but they believe that the methods will be of value in other fields where experimentation is sequential and the error fairly small.

Response surfaces : designs and analyses

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a methodology for estimating response surfaces that rival least squares based on the integrated mean squared error criterion analysis of multiresponse experiments with block effects mixture designs and analyses nonlinear response surface models.

Multi-Factor Experimental Designs for Exploring Response Surfaces

TL;DR: In this paper, the concept of the variance function for an experimental design is introduced, and the problem of selecting practically useful designs is discussed, and in this connection, the notion of variance function is introduced.
