Multiresponse analysis of microbiological parameters affecting the production of pectolytic enzymes by Aspergillus niger: a statistical view

TLDR
In order to develop a two-stage inoculum possessing the best conditions for the maximum production of all three enzymes, a multiresponse analysis was carried out using a generalized distance approach.

Optimization of citric acid production by Aspergillus niger NRRL 567 grown in a column bioreactor

TL;DR: Citric acid production markedly increases with aeration rate and fermentation temperature; however, the bed depth of solid substrate showed an insignificant effect on citric Acid production.

Microparticle-enhanced polygalacturonase production by wild type Aspergillus sojae

TL;DR: The PG activity of Aspergillus sojae using aluminum oxide (Al2O3) as microparticles in shake flask fermentation medium was significantly increased and can be of significance to improve the enzyme activity in large-scale bioreactors.

Effect of aeration and agitation on the protease production by Staphylococcus aureus mutant RC128 in a stirred tank bioreactor.

TL;DR: The modified rotating simplex method has been successfully used to determine the best combination of agitation rate and aeration rate for maximum production of extracellular proteases by Staphylococcus aureus mutant RC128, in a stirred tank bioreactor operated in a discontinuous way.

Efficient polygalacturonase production from agricultural and agro-industrial residues by solid-state culture of Aspergillus sojae under optimized conditions

TL;DR: Previously identified fungal pectinase producers of the species Aspergillus sojae were used for optimization of polygalacturonase production in solid-state fermentation applying Design of Experiment.

Improvement of stability of immobilized GL-7-ACA acylase through modification with glutaraldehyde

TL;DR: In this article, the optimal conditions for pH, heating temperature, heating time and concentrations of glutaraldehyde were found to be: pH 8.0, 62 °C, 25 min and 2% concentration, respectively.

On the Experimental Attainment of Optimum Conditions

TL;DR: The work described in this article is the result of a study extending over the past few years by a chemist and a statistician, which has come about mainly in answer to problems of determining optimum conditions in chemical investigations, but they believe that the methods will be of value in other fields where experimentation is sequential and the error fairly small.

Multi-Factor Experimental Designs for Exploring Response Surfaces

TL;DR: In this paper, the concept of the variance function for an experimental design is introduced, and the problem of selecting practically useful designs is discussed, and in this connection, the notion of variance function is introduced.
