OAM Wave Generation Using Inner feed Annular Slot Microstrip Radiator
TLDR
In this article, an annular slot antenna with inner feeding network is proposed to generate OAM waves at 5.4 GHz frequency for WLAN application, where open-ended microstrip lines are used as radiator along with annular slotted ground plane.Abstract:
This paper proposes, an annular slot antenna with inner feeding network to generate Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM) waves at 5.4 GHz frequency, for WLAN application. The proposed OAM antenna system is smaller in size because open-ended microstrip lines are used as radiator along with annular slotted ground plane. Parametric variation and far field radiation patterns are presented and discussed. 3D phase patterns proves the generation of OAM waves of different OAM modes using proposed OAM antenna.read more

Ultrathin Complementary Metasurface for Orbital Angular Momentum Generation at Microwave Frequencies
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed an ultrathin complementary metasurface that converts a left-handed (right-handed) circularly polarized plane wave without orbital angular momentum (OAM), which is associated with the azimuthal phase of the complex electric field.

Orbital angular momentum of light and the transformation of Laguerre-Gaussian laser modes.
TL;DR: Laser light with a Laguerre-Gaussian amplitude distribution is found to have a well-defined orbital angular momentum and an astigmatic optical system may be used to transform a high-order LaguERre- Gaussian mode into aHigh-order Hermite-Gaussia mode reversibly.

TL;DR: This work demonstrates a 32-Gbit’s−1 millimetre-wave link over 2.5 metres with a spectral efficiency of ~16 bit s− 1 Hz−1 using four independent orbital–angular momentum beams on each of two polarizations, and shows an 8-Gbits−1 link containing two orbital angular momentum beams with crosstalk less than −12.5 dB.

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown experimentally that two beams of incoherent radio waves, transmitted on the same frequency but encoded in two different orbital angular momentum states, can simultaneously transmit two independent radio channels.
