TLDR
In this article, a stable organic electroluminescent devices based on vapor-deposited Alq thin films have been achieved, which are derived from several factors including: (1) a multilayer thin-film structure with a CuPc stabilized hole-injection contact, (2) a hole-transport diamine layer using a naphthyl substituted benzidine derivative, and (3) an ac drive wave form.Abstract:
Highly stable organic electroluminescent devices based on vapor‐deposited Alq thin films have been achieved. The improvement in stability is derived from several factors including: (1) a multilayer thin‐film structure with a CuPc stabilized hole‐injection contact, (2) a hole‐transport diamine layer using a naphthyl‐substituted benzidine derivative, and (3) an ac drive wave form. These emissive devices have shown an operational half‐lifetime of about 4000 h from an initial luminance of 510 cd/m2.read more

Transparent Conductive Oxide (TCO) Films for Organic Light Emissive Devices (OLEDs)
Sunyoung Sohn,Yoon Soo Han +1 more
TL;DR: Transparent conducting oxide (TCO) thin films of In2O3, SnO2, ZnO, and their mixtures have been extensively used in optoelectronic applications such as transparent electrodes in touch panels, flat panel displays (FPDs), and other future devices as mentioned in this paper.

The effect of fluorination on the luminescent behaviour of 8-hydroxyquinoline boron compounds
TL;DR: A series of boron quinolinate compounds with different degrees of fluorination have been prepared and their electronic and luminescent behavior has been investigated in a variety of organic light emitting device structures as discussed by the authors.

Electroluminescent devices for lighting applications
TL;DR: In this article, a method of fabricating an organic light emitting device is described, where a first electrode is provided, over which the rest of the device will be fabricated, and a first organic layer is deposited over the first electrode via solution processing.

Tuning the microstructure of pulsed laser deposited polymer–metal nanocomposites
Johanna Röder,Hans-Ulrich Krebs +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the size and amount of the metal clusters can be tuned by the number of laser pulses hitting the respective targets in the case of Ag, and the microstructure of the Ag clusters is affected by the degree of cross linking of the polymer and can be influenced by pre-deposition of nucleation seeds in the form of small Cu clusters.

Characteristics of organic electroluminescent devices with new dopants
TL;DR: In this paper, an investigation of electroluminescent (EL) characteristics of the organic EL devices with new dopants: 5,12-diphenyl-tetracene (DPT) and benzothioxanthene (BTX) derivatives was conducted.
