Prognosis of intracoronal bleaching with sodium perborate preparations in vitro: 1-year study

TL;DR: This study compared the bleaching prognosis of sodium perborate mixed with water or hydrogen peroxide over a 1-yr period and found that after 1 yr all of the teeth in groups A and C maintained their shades.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dentinal wall adaptation of thermoplasticized gutta-percha in the absence or presence of smear layer: a scanning electron microscopic study.

TL;DR: In the absence of smear layer, the adaptation of gutta-percha was improved in all groups, and removing the smear layer was found to enhance the ability of the thermoplasticized Gutta-Percha to enter the patent tubules.
Journal ArticleDOI

The efficacy comparison of ibuprofen, acetaminophen-codeine, and placebo premedication therapy on the depth of anesthesia during treatment of inflamed teeth.

TL;DR: Preoperative administration of ibuprofen, if not contraindicated, as a drug of choice 1 hour before local anesthesia injection as an effective method for achieving a deep anesthesia during RCT of teeth with irreversible pulpitis is reflected.
Journal ArticleDOI

Shaping ability of Lightspeed rotary nickel-titanium instruments in simulated root canals. Part 1.

TL;DR: The three dimensional form of the canals was compromised as flow and taper were less than ideal, presumably as a result of an ineffective stepback procedure, which implies that either the stepback sequence should be modified or another instrument with increased taper should be used to refine the canal walls before obturation.
Journal ArticleDOI

The effect of premedication with ibuprofen and indomethacin on the success of inferior alveolar nerve block for teeth with irreversible pulpitis.

TL;DR: Premedication with ibuprofen and indomethacin significantly increased the success rates of inferior alveolar nerve block anesthesia for teeth with irreversible pulpitis.
