Endodontic-related Paresthesia: A Case Report and Literature Review

TL;DR: A case of periapical lesion-induced paresthesia that was successfully treated endodontically and the healing progressed so that the symptoms completely resolved within a year after the treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI

The use of two pluggers for the obturation of an uncommon C-shaped canal.

TL;DR: The use of two pluggers simultaneously to downpack the main canals in mandibular second molars is described and the effect of such a modification on the high-flow characteristics of thermosoftened gutta-percha in vertical condensation is discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

The localization of blood-borne bacteria in instrumented unfilled and overinstrumented canals

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors determined if blood-borne bacteria can be attracted and localized inside completely instrumented but unfilled canals, despite repeated weekly intravenous injections of saline suspensions of Streptococcus sanguis F43 for over a 2-month period, none of the canals were able to attract the microorganisms from the bloodstream.

Appropriate electrode placement site for electric pulp testing of anterior teeth in Nigerian adults: a clinical study

TL;DR: The purpose of this study was to identify the optimum site for electrode placement in anterior teeth of adults, the threshold values of these teeth using an electric pulp test, and to determine the influence of sex, age, and arch on the outcome.
Journal ArticleDOI

Treatment of a second maxillary molar with six canals.

TL;DR: Clinicians are reminded that anatomical variations in the dental anatomy should be taken into account during endodontic treatment of the maxillary molars.
