A Smartphone Optical Device for Point-of-Care Testing of Glucose and Cholesterol Using Ag NPs/UiO-66-NH2-Based Ratiometric Fluorescent Probe.
TL;DR: In this paper, a smartphone optical device has been designed for POCT of glucose and cholesterol in metabolic syndrome patients using a ratiometric fluorescent sensor, which can be integrated with a smartphone-based portable platform to read RGB values for accurate testing of the two biomarkers with both detection limits of 10 μmol L-1, which are hundreds of times lower than their concentrations in human serum.
