Tauc-plot scale and extrapolation effect on bandgap estimation from UV–vis–NIR data – A case study of β-Ga2O3
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of the Tauc plot scale and bandgap extrapolation technique on estimated optical bandgap values is often not strongly emphasized; however, it is observed that the proper extrapolation method for bandgap estimation is more appropriate as compared to the values obtained from the traditional direct extrapolation.

Improvement of the Deep UV Sensor Performance of a β-Ga 2 O 3 Photodiode by Coupling of Two Planar Diodes
TL;DR: In this paper, a novel approach based upon coupling of two Schottky diodes is reported, which leads to a substantial increase in photocurrent (~186 times) when benchmarked against a conventional planar UV photodiode.
