Prioritized Experience Replay

TLDR
Prioritized experience replay as mentioned in this paper is a framework for prioritizing experience, so as to replay important transitions more frequently, and therefore learn more efficiently, achieving human-level performance across many Atari games.
Abstract
Experience replay lets online reinforcement learning agents remember and reuse experiences from the past. In prior work, experience transitions were uniformly sampled from a replay memory. However, this approach simply replays transitions at the same frequency that they were originally experienced, regardless of their significance. In this paper we develop a framework for prioritizing experience, so as to replay important transitions more frequently, and therefore learn more efficiently. We use prioritized experience replay in Deep Q-Networks (DQN), a reinforcement learning algorithm that achieved human-level performance across many Atari games. DQN with prioritized experience replay achieves a new state-of-the-art, outperforming DQN with uniform replay on 41 out of 49 games.

Show Us the Way: Learning to Manage Dialog from Demonstrations.

TL;DR: At the core of the proposed dialog system is a reinforcement learning algorithm which uses Deep Q-learning from Demonstrations to learn a dialog policy with the help of expert examples, finding that demonstrations are essential to training an accurate dialog policy where both state and action spaces are large.

A Prioritized objective actor-critic method for deep reinforcement learning

TL;DR: Two actor-critic deep reinforcement learning methods are introduced, namely Multi-Critic Single Policy (MCSP) and Single Critic Multi-Policy (SCMP), which can adjust agent behaviors to efficiently achieve a designated goal by adopting a weighted-sum scalarization of different objective functions.

Convergence Analysis of No-Regret Bidding Algorithms in Repeated Auctions

TL;DR: The convergence of no-regret bidding algorithms in auctions is studied and it is shown that if the bidders use any mean-based learning rule then they converge with high probability to the truthful pure Nash Equilibrium in a second price auction, in VCG auction in the multi-slot setting and to the Bayesian Nash equilibrium in a first price auction.
