Comparative study on ultrasonic assisted adsorption of dyes from single system onto Fe3O4 magnetite nanoparticles loaded on activated carbon: Experimental design methodology.
TL;DR: Good agreement and closeness of Predicted and experimental result and high adsorption capacity of dyes in short time strongly confirm high suitability of present method for waste water treatment, while easy separation of present nanoparticle and its good regeneration all support good applicability of Fe3O4-MNPs-AC for Waste water treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization and use of activated carbons prepared from bagasses for liquid-phase adsorption
TL;DR: In this article, the adsorption of two commercial dyes and phenol from water on activated carbons was investigated at 30°C, where the carbons were prepared from bagasses and were activated by steam with different extents of burn-off by varying the temperature in the range of 750-840°C.

Adsorption behavior of arsenicals on MIL-101(Fe): The role of arsenic chemical structures
TL;DR: MIL-101(Fe) is confirmed a reliable adsorbent to control the aqueous arsenic species contamination and emphasize the significant role of the chemical structure of arsenic speciation on adsorption performances of MOFs.

Biosorption of Malachite Green from aqueous solutions onto aerobic granules: Kinetic and equilibrium studies
TL;DR: Kinetic studies indicate that MG biosorption on aerobic granules in the system follows the pseudo-second order kinetics and Thermodynamic analysis show that bios orption follows an endothermic path of the positive value of Delta H and spontaneous with negative value ofDelta G, composite function.

Removal of metal ions using a new magnetic chitosan nano-bio-adsorbent; A powerful approach in water treatment.
Myrto Tzamali,Fatemeh Karimi,Ali Ayati,Bahareh Tanhaei,Afsaneh L. Sanati,Safoora Afshar,Alireza Kardan,Zeynab Dabirifar,Ceren Karaman +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a magnetic chitosan/Al2O3/Fe3O4 (M-Cs) nanocomposite was developed by ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) functionalization to enhance its adsorption behavior for the removal of Cd(II), Cd and Zn(II) metal ions from aqueous solution.
