Optimal irradiation wavelength in iniferter‐based photocontrolled radical polymerization
Y. Nemoto,Y. Nemoto,Y. Nakayama +2 more
TL;DR: In this paper, iniferter-based photocontrolled radical polymerization optimal irradiation wavelength was examined for precise molecular design of star vectors, which can function as high-performance gene carriers.
Journal ArticleDOI
Photo-controlled RAFT polymerization mediated by organic/inorganic hybrid photoredox catalysts: enhanced catalytic efficiency
TL;DR: In this article, a ZnTPP-POSS organic/inorganic complex was fabricated by linking a polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) to zinc tetraphenylporphyrin.

Telechelic Multifunctional Polyurethane-Based Macroinitiator for the Synthesis of Polystyrene-block-Polyurethane-block-Polystyrene Tri-Block Copolymers via Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization
TL;DR: In this article, atom transfer radical polymerization was successfully used to synthesize polystyrene-b-polyurethane-bpolystyrene tri-block copolymers using telechelic multifunctional polyurethanes (Br3C-PU-CBr3) as a macroinitiator, along with CuBr and N,N,N′,NN″,N″-pentamethyldiethyltetramine (PMDETA) were also used as catalyst and ligand, respectively to polymerize styrene.

Aromatic thioketone-mediated radical polymerization of methacrylates and the preparation of amphiphilic quasi-block copolymers
TL;DR: In this article, electrospray ionization mass spectroscopy (ESI-MS) was conducted to investigate the underlying mechanism of the present method, which involves the rapid spin trapping of propagating radicals by TfXT and subsequent crosstermination with other propagating radical.
