A diagonal completion and 2-optimal procedure for the travelling salesman problem

TL;DR: In this article, a fast diagonal completion algorithm is developed for constructing a good initial feasible solution for travelling salesman problems, which can be combined with any tour improvement approach but is specifically considered here in conjunction with the 2-optimal method which is shown to give good results without excessive demands on computer time.

Vehicle routing problem with availability constraints

Farhana Johar
TL;DR: In this paper, a mathematical formulation is developed to represent the problem studied which has been solved by several heuristics, i.e. Variable Neighborhood Search (VNS), Large Neighborhood Search(LNS), Tabu Search (TS), and VNS is proved to be the best algorithm which generates the least cost solution.

A probabilistic methodology for the treatment of system- of-systems problems and application to future air transportation architectures

TL;DR: The purpose of this paper is to report on design methodology research for this relatively new problem to the aerospace design community, define associated key characteristics and modeling capabilities, and offer some further insights through an example.

Solución del problema de múltiples agentes viajeros resuelto mediante técnicas heurísticas Solving the multiple traveling salesmen problem solved by heuristics

TL;DR: In this paper, a metodologia que combina una heuristica constructiva with heuristicas de mejoramiento is presented, and the result of these results are used as base for a literatura especializada that permite evaluar el desempeno de 6 estrategias de busqueda local.
