Stimuli-responsive molecular brushes

TLDR
In this paper, the authors review the general aspects of molecular brushes and polymeric responsive systems and highlight the rational approaches to induce stimuli-responsiveness in molecular brush systems, which are unique for molecular brushes since these conformational changes can be restricted to a single molecule.

The Method of Introduced Amino Group for Preparation of Thermo-Responsive Textiles

TL;DR: In this article, a dye mediate, 2-Chloro-4,6-diamino-1,3,5-triazine (CDATA), was used to introduce amino groups onto cotton fibers, which was then grafted onto cotton by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP), which was measured by infrared and contact angle measurements.

Living free-radical polymerization by reversible addition - Fragmentation chain transfer: The RAFT process

TL;DR: The authors proposed a reversible additive-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) method for living free-radical polymerization, which can be used with a wide range of monomers and reaction conditions and in each case it provides controlled molecular weight polymers with very narrow polydispersities.

Environment-sensitive hydrogels for drug delivery

TL;DR: Development of environmentally sensitive hydrogels with a wide array of desirable properties can be made is a formidable challenge, however, if the achievements of the past can be extrapolated into the future, it is highly likely that responsive hydrogelWith such properties can been made.
