Stimuli-responsive molecular brushes

TLDR
In this paper, the authors review the general aspects of molecular brushes and polymeric responsive systems and highlight the rational approaches to induce stimuli-responsiveness in molecular brush systems, which are unique for molecular brushes since these conformational changes can be restricted to a single molecule.

Many-Chain Effects on the Co-nonsolvency of Polymer Brushes in a Good Solvent Mixture

TL;DR: Simulation and analytical results reveal the nature of co-nonsolvency in polymer brushes in an explicit way and will help to provide practical guidelines for applications such as drug delivery and sensor devices.

Interaction between Bottlebrush Polymers and Phospholipid Membranes in Solutions.

TL;DR: In this work, a spring model was introduced to explain the variances in the shape factors and the radius of gyration of the bottlebrush polymers, as well as the order parameters of the phospholipid membrane in the pulling processes.

Living free-radical polymerization by reversible addition - Fragmentation chain transfer: The RAFT process

TL;DR: The authors proposed a reversible additive-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) method for living free-radical polymerization, which can be used with a wide range of monomers and reaction conditions and in each case it provides controlled molecular weight polymers with very narrow polydispersities.

Environment-sensitive hydrogels for drug delivery

TL;DR: Development of environmentally sensitive hydrogels with a wide array of desirable properties can be made is a formidable challenge, however, if the achievements of the past can be extrapolated into the future, it is highly likely that responsive hydrogelWith such properties can been made.
