The Anthropic Cosmological Principle

TLDR
In this article, Barrow and Tipler examined the question of Mankind's place in the universe, taking the reader on a tour of many scientific disciplines and offering fascinating insights into issues such as the nature of life, the serach for extraterrestrial intelligence, and the past history and fate of our universe.
Abstract
Is there any connection between the vastness of the universes of stars and galaxies and the existence of life on a small planet out in the suburbs of the Milky Way? This book shows that there is. In their classic work, John Barrow and Frank Tipler examine the question of Mankind's place in the Universe, taking the reader on a tour of many scientific disciplines and offering fascinating insights into issues such as the nature of life, the serach for extraterrestrial intelligence, and the past history and fate of our universe.

On a Plausible Triple Electro-gravito-informational Significance of the Fine Structure Constant

TL;DR: In this paper, a plausible triple electro-gravito-informational significance of the fine structure constant, with its implications in the four fields unification and the existence of life forms in our universe, is brought to attention.

Locally U(1)*U(1) Symmetric Cosmological Models: Topology and Dynamics

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of spatial topologies on dynamics was examined by obtaining translation and reflection operators which commute with the dynamical flow in the phase space, and analyzed the equivalences at the reduced level of the models as dynamical models.

Design and the Anthropic Principle

TL;DR: In the Booknotes to this journal's Volume 5 (1990) at page 259, M. Ruse says of the Design Argument that, after Darwin, it was "stone dead" - attempts to resuscitate it by biology-ignorant physicists under the guise of the anthropic principle notwithstanding (Barrow and Tipler 1986).
