Computation of X-ray powder diffractograms of cement components and its application to phase analysis and hydration performance of OPC cement

TL;DR: The importance of computed X-ray diffraction patterns of various polymorphs of alite (i.e., alite, belite, aluminate, aluminoferrite, gypsum and hemihydrates) in the quantitative phase analysis of cement and its early stage hydration performance is highlighted in this paper.

Strontium and Zinc Substitution in β-Tricalcium Phosphate: An X-ray Diffraction, Solid State NMR and ATR-FTIR Study.

TL;DR: The results of X-ray diffraction analysis indicate that zinc can substitute for calcium into a β-TCP structure up to about 10 at% inducing a reduction of the cell parameters, whereas the substitution occurs up to 80 at% in the case of strontium, which provokes a linear increase of the lattice constants, and a slight modification into a more symmetric structure.

Synthesis, crystal structure and X-ray powder diffraction data of the phosphor matrix 4SrO¢7Al 2 O 3

TL;DR: In this article, the white phosphor matrix 4SrO·7Al2O3 has been synthesized by firing the appropriate mixture of SrCO3, Al(OH)3 and H3BO3 in the molar ratios 1 : 3.5 : 0.135 at 1300°C for 4-7 h.
