Characterization of Zeolites — Infrared and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and X-Ray Diffraction

TL;DR: A number of spectroscopic techniques are advantageously used to characterize zeolites and/or zeolite-adsorbate systems as mentioned in this paper, and the general feature of all of these techniques is the following one.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synchrotron X-ray characterization of crack strain fields in polygranular graphite

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the elastic strain energy release rate of a crack in polygranular isotropic nuclear graphite during stable fracture propagation and measured displacement fields using a Finite Element method.

Cation order and magnetic properties of double perovskite Sr2FeMoO6

TL;DR: A double perovskite type compound, Sr2FeMoO6, was synthesized by a solid-state reaction as mentioned in this paper, where the order parameter (x) of Fe and Pt ions on the B sites increased from 68% to 82% and spontaneous magnetization at 5 K increased from 2.1 to 3.0μB per formula unit.

Rhombohedral ilmenite group nickel titanates with zn, mg, and mn: synthesis and crystal structures

TL;DR: In this article, the existence and stability of complex solid solutions between ordered rhombohedral titanates of Ni and first-row transition metals at ambient conditions over a range of t from 0.786 to 0.737.

The relationships between phases and structures of lithium manganese spinels

TL;DR: In this paper, the ionic distribution of the cubic lithium manganese spinels and the tetragonal spinels were determined by time-of-flight (TOF) neutron powder diffraction.
