Controlling product selectivity with nanoparticle composition in tandem chemo-biocatalytic styrene oxidation

TL;DR: It is shown that combing heterogeneous catalysts to produce H2O2 in situ from H2 and air, in the presence of an evolved unspecific peroxygenase from Agrocybe aegerita yields a highly active cascade process capable of oxidizing alkyl and alkenyl substrates under mild conditions.

Vanadyl Bis(acetylacetonate)

TL;DR: InChI as discussed by the authors is a pre-catalyst for the oxidation of several functional groups in combination with alkyl hydroperoxides or oxygen, especially useful for the regio-and diastereoselective epoxidation of allylic alcohols.

Novel aurophilic organic ligands based on 1,3-dibromo-propan-2-ol and 2-aminothiophenol

TL;DR: In this paper, the nucleophilic substitution reactions in 1,3-dibromo-propan-2-ol and the products of its acylation under the action of 2-aminothiophenol were investigated.
