Journal ArticleDOI
Ionic liquid supported three-phase liquid-liquid-liquid microextraction as a sample preparation technique for aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons prior to gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.
Chanbasha Basheer,Anass Ali Alnedhary,B.S. Madhava Rao,Rajasekhar Balasubramanian,Hian Kee Lee +4 more
TL;DR: HFM-LLLME provided up to 210-fold enrichment of aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons in 40 min with good reproducibility and limits of detection (1-7 ng l(-1)).
Journal ArticleDOI
Direct synthesis of cyclic carbonates from olefins and CO2 catalyzed by a MoO2(acac)2-quaternary ammonium salt system
TL;DR: In this article, a highly efficient synthesis of cyclic carbonates from olefins and CO2 has been achieved by the use of a molybdenyl acetylacetonate (MoO2(acac)2) -quaternary ammonium salt catalytic system with tertbutyl hydroperoxide as an oxidant through a one-pot multistep process.
Journal ArticleDOI
The role of protons in cyclohexene oxidation with H2O2 catalysed by Ti(IV)-monosubstituted Keggin polyoxometalate
Oxana A. Kholdeeva,Tatiana A. Trubitsina,Maria N. Timofeeva,Gennadii M. Maksimov,Raisa I. Maksimovskaya,Vladimir A. Rogov +5 more
TL;DR: The effect of the number of protons in the Ti(IV)-monosubstituted Keggin polyoxometalate Na 5−−n H n PTiW 11 O 40 (n ǫ = 1-5; Ti-POM) on its catalytic behavior in cyclohexene (CyH) oxidation with aqueous H 2 O 2 in MeCN is reported as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
New Insights into the Mechanism of Hydroperoxide Activation by Investigation of Dynamic Processes in the Coordination Sphere of Seven-Coordinated Molybdenum Peroxo Complexes
TL;DR: In this paper, a detailed theoretical study on the activation of CH3OOH at the model complex (NH3)2MoO(O2)2 including partial ligand dissociation and proton transfer from the hydroperoxide to one of the peroxo ligands is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Epoxidation of soybean oil using a homogeneous catalytic system based on a molybdenum (VI) complex
TL;DR: In this article, the ability of bis(acetyl-acetonato)dioxo-molybdenum (VI) [MoO 2 (acac) 2 ] to catalyse the epoxidation of soybean oil in the presence of tert -butyl hydroperoxide as oxidizing agent has been investigated by quantitative 1 H NMR.
