Two different fucosylated chondroitin sulfates: Structural elucidation, stimulating hematopoiesis and immune-enhancing effects.

TLDR
The results showed that FCShp and FCSht had beneficial effects on hematopoietic function recovery in CTX-induced bone marrow suppression mice, and provided basis for developing the drugs to reduce side effects of chemotherapy.

Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison of structures and anticoagulant activities of fucosylated chondroitin sulfates from different sea cucumbers

TL;DR: Anticoagulant activities of the four fCSs can be attributed to the difference in sulfation pattern of the fucose branch of the chondroitin sulfate, and 2,4- O -disulfation is important for anticoagULant activity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anticoagulant and antithrombotic evaluation of native fucosylated chondroitin sulfates and their derivatives as selective inhibitors of intrinsic factor Xase.

TL;DR: In vitro and in vivo studies suggested that fractions of 6-12 kDa may be very promising compounds as putative selective intrinsic Xase inhibitors with antithrombotic action, but without the consequences of major bleeding and factor XII activation.
