TLDR
In this paper, a review of 80 papers published from 2011 to 2017 on green purchase behavior revealed that most of the studies were conducted during the last three years, and the review showed that authors obtained different results of the analysis of the green products in general (including all green products) purchase behavior.

Chitin and Chitosans: Characteristics, Eco-Friendly Processes, and Applications in Cosmetic Science.

TL;DR: In this paper, the physicochemical and biological properties of chitin and chitosans are discussed, focusing on enzymatic deproteinization, bacteria fermentation, and enzymastic deacetylation methods.

Towards closing the attitude-intention-behavior gap in green consumption: a narrative review of the literature and an overview of future research directions

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used a pre-assigned framework to categorize 58 articles addressing the green gap, based on the theory, methodology, and paradigm applied in each article, and they concluded that despite the diversity of methods used, there is still room for improvement in terms of methodology, paradigm, and theory.

A new model for testing green consumer behaviour

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the links between a set of constructs in order to propose a model for green consumer behavior based on a different set of buying behaviour antecedents: a prosocial attitude, the value placed on green and green communication.

The theory of planned behavior

TL;DR: Ajzen, 1985, 1987, this article reviewed the theory of planned behavior and some unresolved issues and concluded that the theory is well supported by empirical evidence and that intention to perform behaviors of different kinds can be predicted with high accuracy from attitudes toward the behavior, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control; and these intentions, together with perceptions of behavioral control, account for considerable variance in actual behavior.

From a literature review to a conceptual framework for sustainable supply chain management

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a literature review on sustainable supply chain management taking 191 papers published from 1994 to 2007 into account, and a conceptual framework to summarize the research in this field comprising three parts.

Predicting green product consumption using theory of planned behavior and reasoned action

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors validate TPB and its extended form (mediating role of TPB variables), as well as the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) to predict Indian consumers' green product purchase intention.

Sustainable food consumption among young adults in Belgium: Theory of planned behaviour and the role of confidence and values

TL;DR: In this paper, a study was conducted in which attitudes and behaviour as well as the role of individual characteristics like confidence and values related to sustainable products are analyzed. But the focus of the analysis is on exploring the influence of determinants as hypothesised by the theory of planned behaviour (TPB) on sustainable food consumer behavior in Belgium.

Factors Affecting Green Purchase Behaviour and Future Research Directions

TL;DR: In this article, the authors reviewed 53 empirical articles on green purchase behavior from 2000 to 2014 and identified various prevalent motives, facilitators and barriers affecting purchase decision-making towards green products and provided possible explanations for inconsistencies reported in green purchase behaviour.
