Journal ArticleDOI
Constructive solid geometry for polyhedral objects
TL;DR: The algorithm presented here performs set operations on objects constructed from convex polygons, finding the union, intersection or difference of these objects allows more interesting and complicated polygonal objects to be created.
Identification of transcriptional regulators in the mouse immune system

Elpek,Angelique Bellemare-Pelletier,Deepali Malhotra,Shannon J. Turley +49 more
TL;DR: The Immunological Genome Project gene-expression profiles across mouse immune lineages allowed us to systematically analyze transcriptional circuitry that controls the differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells into cells of the immune system, and Ontogenet, an algorithm for reconstructing lineage-specific regulation from gene- expression profiles across lineages, was developed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Three-dimensional, time-resolved (4D) relative pressure mapping using magnetic resonance imaging.
J. Michael Tyszka,J. Michael Tyszka,David H. Laidlaw,David H. Laidlaw,Joseph W. Asa,Jeffrey M. Silverman +5 more
TL;DR: The relative pressure map calculated for pulsatile flow in a compliant phantom was shown to be consistent with independent pressure transducer measurements and the feasibility of performing 4D pressure mapping in vivo is demonstrated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparing 2D vector field visualization methods: a user study
David H. Laidlaw,Robert M. Kirby,Cullen Jackson,J.S. Davidson,Tim Miller,M. da Silva,William H. Warren,Michael J. Tarr +7 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that using the inferential confidence intervals for displaying the overall pattern of results for each task measure and for performing subsequent pairwise comparisons of the condition means was the best method for analyzing the data in this study.
Intrathymic programming of effector fates in three molecularly distinct γδ T cell subtypes
