A comprehensive quantification of global nitrous oxide sources and sinks

Hanquin Tian, +65 more
- 08 Oct 2020 -
TL;DR: A global N2O inventory is presented that incorporates both natural and anthropogenic sources and accounts for the interaction between nitrogen additions and the biochemical processes that control N 2O emissions, using bottom-up, top-down and process-based model approaches.

Law Dome CO2, CH4 and N2O ice core records extended to 2000 years BP

TL;DR: In this paper, new measurements of atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations in ice from Law Dome, Antarctica reproduce published Law Dome CO2 and CH4 records, extend them back to 2000 years BP, and include N2O.

Calibration of the Total Carbon Column Observing Network using aircraft profile data

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a calibration of TCCON data using WMO-scale in-strumentation aboard aircraft that measured profiles over four Total Carbon Column Observing Network (TCCON) stations.
