Log-parabolic spectra and particle acceleration in blazars. III: SSC emission in the TeV band from Mkn 501
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors derived the relationship between the curvature parameters of the synchrotron (S) and Synchro-Self Compton (SSC) spectra for relativistic electrons by means of an accurate numerical code.
Journal ArticleDOI
X-ray spectral evolution of TeV BL Lacertae objects : eleven years of observations with BeppoSAX, XMM-Newton and Swift satellites
TL;DR: In this paper, X-ray spectra of several extragalactic sources detected in γ rays at TeV energies are used to identify high frequency peaked BL Lacs (HBLs) as their spectral energy distributions exhibit a first peak in the Xray band.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: In this article, the authors report on the first 10 identifications of sources serendipitously detected by the Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array (NuSTAR) to provide the first sensitive census of the cosmic X-ray background source population at ≳10 keV.

TL;DR: In this article, a gamma-ray and multi-wavelength nearly-periodic oscillation in an active galactic nucleus was detected using the Fermi Large Area Telescope (LAT).

TL;DR: Spectral analysis of the Swift observations of GRB 060614 shows that the burst presents standard optical, ultraviolet and X-ray afterglows, detected beginning 4 ks after the trigger, and that the peak energy of the burst has decreased to as low as 8 keV at the beginning of the XRT observation.
