Monte Carlo studies for the optimisation of the Cherenkov Telescope Array layout

Ayan Acharyya, +475 more
TL;DR: The Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) as mentioned in this paper is the major next-generation observatory for ground-based very high-energy gamma-ray astronomy, which will improve the sensitivity of current groundbased instruments by a factor of five to twenty, depending on the energy, greatly improving both their angular and energy resolutions over four decades in energy.

First NuSTAR Observations of Mrk 501 within a Radio to TeV Multi-Instrument Campaign

Amy Furniss, +275 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors report on simultaneous broadband observations of the TeV-emitting blazar Markarian 501 between 1 April and 10 August 2013, including the first detailed characterization of the synchrotron peak with Swift and NuSTAR.
