Journal ArticleDOI

Characteristic Estimation of Artificial Magnetic Conductors

TL;DR: In this article, a model for estimating the phase of reflection coefficient and the resonant frequency of artificial magnetic conductor structures, which are composed of an array of frequency selective surface elements at the interface of a grounded dielectric slab, is proposed.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

A method of small size and broadband patch antenna using double negative material (DNM)

TL;DR: In this article, the double negative material (or left-handed material) was applied in some basic applications, including waveguide, rectangular patch antenna and circular or disc patch antenna, and the authors found that the sizes of these devices can be greatly reduced by using multi-block dielectric material.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Terahertz generation in the carbon nanotube antenna

TL;DR: In this article, a new carbon nanotube antenna for terahertz application is proposed, which operates from 9.3 THz to 10.2 THz range, and main resonant frequency is 9.7 THz.
Journal ArticleDOI

Design and consideration of wafer level micropackaging for distributed RF MEMS phase shifters

TL;DR: In this article, a novel packaging structure which is performed using wafer level micropackaging on the thin silicon substrate as the distributed RF MEMS phase shifters wafer with vertical feedthrough is presented.
