TL;DR: This paper identified the effects of culture and sex on mate preferences using samples drawn from 33 countries located on six continents and five islands (N = 9,474) and found that chastity was the mate characteristic on which cultures varied the most.

TL;DR: This paper found that self-esteem was correlated with congruence between personal values and the prevailing values environment, and self-enhancement values (power, achievement) and openness to change values (self-direction, stimulation) were positively and selftranscendence values (universalism, benevolence) and conservation values (tradition) were negatively related to selfesteem.

Metacognitions about Language Skill and Working Memory among Monolingual and Bilingual College Students: When Does Multilingualism Matter?
TL;DR: This paper found that bilingual and multilingual students have better metalinguistic awareness of their language skills in reading and WM than do students who are monolingual, but who have comparable native language skills.
