TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of the financial development and financial stability variables on foreign direct investment were investigated for Turkey, and the results indicated that financial stability has a positive effect on the foreign direct investments especially after 2013.
Abstract: Purpose – In this study, the effect of the financial development and financial stability variables on foreign direct investment were investigated for Turkey. Design/methodology/approach – The stationary of the series will be investigated by the ADF unit root test which developed by Dickey and Fuller (1981). And then, series will be examined with Rolling Windows Causality and Parameter Estimation Methods which developed by Balcilar et al. (2010). Findings – Empirical findings suggests that financial stability has a positive effect on the foreign direct investments especially after 2013; coefficient increased over 1 for foreign direct investments in some of the periods. Discussion – It can be understood from here that a 1% increase in financial stability can affect foreign direct investments by more than 1%. On the other hand, the causality relationship between financial development and direct foreign investments is meaningful only for the 2009- 2010 periods.

TL;DR: In this paper, a study area covering volcanic-volcanosedimentary units of Eocene age in the Sivas-Ulas area from Turkey was covered, where pyroclastic (tuffaceous claystone/siltsone/sandstone, crystal ash tuff) and volcanic (basalt, basaltic andesite, andesites) rocks of the Karacalar member from the Kalekoy Formation include volcanogenic (plagioclase, augite, hornblende, biotite), diagenetic (K-felds
Abstract: The study area covers volcanic-volcanosedimentary units of Eocene age in the Sivas-Ulas area from Turkey. The pyroclastic (tuffaceous claystone/siltsone/sandstone, crystal ash tuff) and volcanic (basalt, basaltic andesite, andesite) rocks of the Karacalar member from the Kalekoy Formation include volcanogenic (plagioclase, augite, hornblende, biotite), diagenetic (K-feldspar, mixed-layered chlorite-smectite/C-S, chlorite, analcime) and post-volcanic (calcite, dolomite, quartz) minerals. The volcanogenic (plagioclase), diagenetic (K-feldspar, C-S, chlorite), postvolcanic (quartz, calcite, dolomite) and detrital (illite) minerals were observed in the epiclastic (shale, siltstone, calcareous siltstone, sandstone, calcareous sandstone) and chemical (limestone, gypsum) rocks of the Yapali member from this formation. C-S + K-feldspar zoning is widely developed by due to the interaction between sea-water and volcanic glass in basic-intermediate composition, on the basis of optic and electron microscopes and also X-rays data. This zone corresponds to the deeper parts of the Sivas basin in the Eocene period and show vertically a transition into zeolite zone in approximately northern parts of the basin (Yavu area).

TL;DR: Incelenmistir as mentioned in this paper, Naftalin bor katkili elmas elektrot yuzeyindeki elektrokimyasal ozellikleri, degisik cozelti ortamlari ve genis bir pH araliginda incelenMistir.
Abstract: Bu calismada, Naftalin bor katkili elmas elektrot yuzeyindeki elektrokimyasal ozellikleri, degisik cozelti ortamlari ve genis bir pH araliginda incelenmistir.

TL;DR: The results showed that ELM can be employed for detecting fault types and locations successfully and applicability of ELM in fault type, zone and location detection was determined.
Abstract: Importance of supplying qualified and undisturbed electricity is increasing day by day. Therefore, detecting fault, fault type and fault location is a major issue in power transmission system in order to prevent power delivery system security. In previous studies, we observed that faults can be easily determined by extreme learning machine (ELM) and the aim of this study is to determine applicability of ELM in fault type, zone and location detection. 8 different feature sets were exacted from fault data that produced by ATP and these features were assessed by 15 different classifier and 5 different regression method. The results showed that ELM can be employed for detecting fault types and locations successfully.

TL;DR: It was determined that the nitrogen fertilizer doses affected plant height, number of side branches,Number of heads, diameter of the head, main stem diameter and petal yield statistically significantly, and the yield elements increased positively.
Abstract: In order to determine the effects of different nitrogen and phosphorus levels on the petal yield and some vegetative parameters of some safflower cultivars, the study was established in Diyarbakir irrigated conditions in the winter season of Dicle University Faculty of Agriculture in the 2019-2020 growing season. The experiment was carried out in according to the split-split plots experimental design in randomized blocks with four replications, and two safflower cultivars (Safir, Dincer), three phosphorus doses (0, 3, 6 kg P2O5/da) and four nitrogen doses (0, 5, 10, 15 kg N/da) was applied. Plant height, number of side branches, number of heads, diameter of the heads, main stem diameter and petal yield were investigated. As a result of the findings, it was determined that the nitrogen fertilizer doses affected plant height, number of side branches, number of heads, diameter of the head, main stem diameter and petal yield statistically significantly. Plant height 73.76-93.24 cm, number of side branches 4.36 -5.53 pieces/plant, number of heads 10.18 -16.82 pieces/plant, diameter of the head 24.38-26.43 mm, main stem diameter was found to vary between 5.82-6.88 mm. The highest petal yield was obtained from the application of 15 kg N/da dose of 7.06 kg/da, and the lowest from 0 kg N/da dose application as 4.88 kg/da. In parallel with the increase in the applied doses, it was determined that the yield elements increased positively.
