TL;DR: In this article, the authors deal with the study on application of activated carbon (Cordia sebestena activated carbon) and polypyrrole polymer composite prepared from the precursor fruit of the gardening plant material for the removal of cationic dye (basic dye namely Basic Red 29 (BR29)) from aqueous solutions.
Abstract: The paper deals with the study on application of activated carbon (Cordia sebestena activated carbon (CSAC)) and polypyrrole polymer composite prepared from the precursor fruit of the gardening plant material Cordia sebestena for the removal of cationic dye (basic dye namely Basic Red 29 (BR29)) from aqueous solutions. Adsorption experiments are carried out using batch system in order to do equilibrium adsorption isotherm, kinetics and thermodynamic studies. It is found that chemical modification of plant wastes like sawdust coated with polypyrrole called polypyrrole polymer composite is an efficient adsorbent for the removal of cationic dye BR29 from aqueous solutions when compared to activated carbon (CSAC).

TL;DR: In this paper, solid waste from various industries has been collected and characterized, based on the nature and composition of solid waste, the possible chemical composition is evaluated and value added products are prepared.
Abstract: In the present study, solid waste from various industries has been collected and characterized. Based on the nature and composition of solid waste, the possible chemical composition is evaluated and value added products are prepared. Methods for conversion of solid wastes into building materials such as bricks and concrete blocks have been described. Mixing of solid waste in various proportions with red soil also carried out as pot experiment. From the results of various tests on final product, it is concluded that solid waste can be used suitably to produce bricks with 25-30% of sludge, for concrete blocks with 45-50% of sludge. By applying this type of alternative, solid waste could be disposed off in a better way without affecting the existing environment.

TL;DR: The proposed technique involve the use of hybrid meta heuristics genetic algorithm with tabu search to retrieve the best suitable web service to the end user based on the Quality of service parameters.
Abstract: In Service Computing, Service selection plays a vital role in delivering an appropriate service to the end user based on the request. Service composition methodology is the major factor affecting the appropriate need for the user or the consumer. The proposed technique involve the use of hybrid meta heuristics genetic algorithm with tabu search to retrieve the best suitable web service to the end user based on the Quality of service parameters. The existing techniques use the parameters response time, cost and reliability. The technique used in hybrid algorithm is used computes the availability of service, response time, throughput and interoperability between the services. Hence the result of service composition gives high reliable service to the end user with maximum throughput and interoperability. The location based service selection mechanism is considered for service composition as almost 90% of the services are available in cloud.
